Mixed Media Mosaics
Local artist, Ivy Egger, will teach students the art of mixed media mosaic utilizing pieces of cut glass, beads, mica, glitter and whatever else adds a sparkle to this art form. By the end of the class students will create a mosaic of their own to take home. Students will learn how to cut glass using wheeled nippers and to lay out and assemble their mosaic. Students will be provided all glass materials including glass beads, glass cutter tools, safety glasses, and adhesive to create a unique and sparkly piece of art suitable for framing.
Ivy's works have been featured in esteemed art exhibits such as the recent Chadds Ford Art Show, Pottstown Area Artists Guild Winter Exhibit, Swarthmore's Friends of the Arts and more.

All Day Art Retreat
This is something that I have been thinking about doing for a while. A private art retreat at my studio during the warmer months. So let me set the scene: It’s finally warm out. You and a small group visit my suburban studio surrounded by a lush landcape of flowers, a garden, and a waterfall. We spend the morning relaxing with the magic of salt on watercolor paint. We break for lunch catered by me (I’ve been cooking my entire life)! After lunch, we will create a nature-inspired mosaic. If the weather is cooperative, we can work on them outside. Of course, if the weather is uncooperative, you are welcome to work on yours in my air-conditioned studio.
